Our Gumnuts Cottage caters for children aged between
2 and 3 years of age. The cottage is set in a beautiful
heritage listed property with four original fireplaces
used as reading and quiet corners, including ornate
ceilings.
The focus on learning in this environment is on
providing a wide range of experiences for the children
each day based on their natural curiosity and excitement
for self-discovery throughout each year.
There is a strong emphasis on learning concepts
through music and art experiences. Each day
the children are brought together in small groups
to read stories, play games and work on group
projects. Our state of the art equipment provides
a range of a educational environments and activities
to develop our gross and fine motor skills,
social skills and independence.
Feedback is provided regularly throughout the year including documentation of developmental progress.
