The Jacaranda Cottage caters for children aged from 3 to 4 years
of age. The cottage is a sensitively restored Victorian-era home
with original fireplaces and timber floor boards. There are two
large open plan rooms that promote a range of key learning areas.
The Jacarandas is the first stage of the children’s Preschool experience.
The focus is on building secure relationships within the learning environment
that foster a strong sense of self within each individual.The Jacaranda Cottage
is a place where the children experience a wide range of early learning opportunities
that will enhance all areas of their development.
The children are guided through literacy and numeracy experiences which are both stimulating and individually tailored to meet the skill level of each child. Daily French lessons are an integral part of the program not only in the development of cognitive skills but also for the children to develop an understanding of the wider global community.We provide an excellent transition program as the children graduate to the Preschool on Avenue Road.
